Mark Ward has more than 35 years of experience in sales and marketing. Starting in resort sales while in college and then moving to commercial real estate sales and marketing after graduation, he has been an entrepreneur and team builder throughout his career. Before the age of 30, Mark had formed his first real estate company. He then went on to build a computer-based telecom company before the internet was even a “thing.” When he circled back to real estate—this time as a founding partner of a residential construction company—Mark drove annual sales for the new venture in excess of $120 million. He did it by surrounding himself with a top-notch team and consistently demanding the highest-quality standards.

After discovering the healing properties of cannabinoids in 2017, Mark and his team set out to build a world-class company that would produce the finest industrial hemp-derived cannabis ingredients on the East Coast. Averix Bio is a labor of love for its partners and team members, who are ever mindful of the company’s mission to “do well while doing good.”

Mark proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corp and is a graduate of North Carolina State University.
